Facial Wet or Dry Brush

$36 CAD

Brighten your skin and your nighttime routine. Made by hand in Stockholm using all-natural fibers, this travel-sized, eco friendly face brush gently removes makeup and dirt while simultaneously eliminating dead skin cells.

These wire-drawn brushes are hand made by visually-impaired craftsman for Swedish brand Iris Hantverk. Each bristle bundle is held in place by a continuous wire that is “drawn” through the holes drilled into the brush handle. The result is a compact, versatile, and sturdily-constructed everyday brush.

The dry use brush removes dead skin cells, and gives the skin a new luster. Massage with circular motions for 5 minutes once or twice a week, avoiding the eye and mouth areas.*

The wet use brush can be used with a cleansing lotion, to remove makeup and gently cleanse pores.

Traditional Craftsmanship. The Iris Hantverk company produces high-quality handmade household items using techniques that date back to the 19th century. Enlisting the skills of top designers to conceptualize their products, they hire and support visually impaired craftspeople to create these meticulously assembled pieces. The time-honored techniques of traditional Swedish craftsmanship has been used by IRIS Hantverk for more than a hundred years. They still draw every brush by hand and use natural materials almost exclusively. Backs and handles are made of birch, oak or beech. The bristles are made of various materials such as horsehair, goat hair, Tampico fiber (from plants unique to the semi-desert areas of northern Mexico) and piassava (bass) fiber, depending on their use.
